We are starting things off in Colorado with stops at The North Fork Valley Bluegrass Festival in Hotchkiss and Telluride Bluegrass Festival and then heading out to Utah for Groovefest. From there we'll doing a few select shows in Colorado before hitting other festivals in the Midwest, California and Oregon and finally wrapping up the summer in Tennessee and Arkansas. See you out there!

We are very excited to welcome Jake Wargo to TWS family. He is the band's new fulltime audio engineer and tour manager. Jake works incredibly hard to ensure that The Sons sound exactly like we are supposed to every where we go and takes good care of us. April '07. Things are well with the Sons. Since coming back from a tour that took us to the Atlantic Ocean and back, we've gotten some rest and gotten to play a lot of great shows around the great state of Colorado. Soon we're heading off to the Midwest again (see tour dates) for more great Wayword times. After that we're gearing up for a big summer with stops at lots of our favorite venues and some of the best festivals in the country.

December '06. Snow is flying in Colorado and Burle and the boys are anxious to get out on the road. Coming up is the January Powder Tour, featuring twelve great venues in WY, MT, ID, UT and CO and just about every one of them is very close a killer ski mountain. Rumor has it that the dobro player has vowed to play at least one full show in ski boots.

December '06 New Years Eve in Big Sky, MT. The band is psyched to ring in the new year with a rocking night of music and the great people of Montana.

October 9th. The Wayword Sons are excited to announce that Pete Kartsounes is joining the band as our new guitar player and singer. Pete is a badass musician, killer guitar player, great songwriter and a soulful singer and fits perfect into the Sons' sound. We are sad to see Robin go, but the life of the road was not for him, so we had to move on so that we can play as much as we want to, for as many fans, new and old as possible. Pete has played in bands with Burle before and knows exactly how to translate Burle-tunes into the Wayword sound. Bottom line.... Pete is a great fit.

October 5. The Sons are excited to announce that we are now working with the good people at Mountain High Music International. They will be doing all of our booking, which means you will be seeing a lot more of the band all over the country in the near future.
